Kinetix Strength Studio opened on October 13, 2026, at The Podium in Ortigas, introducing a fresh model for group strength training that merges team-based workouts with competitive race simulation. As part of the Strength in Movement Group, the facility targets athletes seeking both performance gains and collaborative training environments.
The opening event showcased a four-stage hybrid race simulation demanding strength and endurance. Athletes completed a 500-meter sprint, followed by a 250-meter SkiErg, a 15-meter sled push using 102 kg for women and 152 kg for men, and concluded with 15 dumbbell squat thrusts using either 15-pound or 25-pound weights. Coaches tracked form and pacing while a DJ kept energy levels high throughout. James Licauco and Keano Aniban finished first, with Ice Escarilla and Simon Abraham taking second place. The event wrapped up with a guided recovery session led by KSS coaches, reinforcing the studio’s balanced training philosophy.
The studio’s design stands out by integrating group training with sports science principles, unlike conventional gyms that rely on individual workouts. Classes follow a structured strength cycle, allowing participants of all levels, from beginners to elite athletes, to advance together. This structured approach ensures progression without supporting competition among members.

Beyond scheduled classes, Kinetix Strength Studio provides open gym access for hybrid sports simulations, replicating race conditions in a controlled setting. This feature helps athletes refine competition skills while maintaining an energetic, social atmosphere. The launch also featured collaborations with brands such as Nike Perfume, H Proper Coffee Roasters, and Coze Skin, aligning with the studio’s focus on performance and lifestyle integration.
Located on the 4th floor of The Podium in Ortigas, the studio serves athletes in the Mandaluyong Business District. Updates on class schedules and events are shared through Instagram (@kinetixstrengthstudio) and Facebook, ensuring transparency and engagement with the community.
The studio builds on the Strength in Movement Group’s established model, which already includes brands like Kinetix Lab, Kinetix+, and Polarity Wellness Club. These brands combine strength training with recovery and sports science, and the new studio extends that approach into group settings. This fills a gap between solo workouts and traditional team sports, offering a structured yet social training experience.
